Heavenly Father,
As the day comes to a close, we come before You with grateful hearts, thankful for the blessings bestowed upon us. We ask for Your mercy and forgiveness for any wrongs we have committed, knowingly or unknowingly, and we seek Your grace to guide us towards righteousness.
Lord Jesus, we remember our Catholic brothers and sisters around the globe. We pray for those who are persecuted for their faith, that they may find strength and solace in Your presence. We ask for Your protection over those who serve the Church in dangerous places, granting them courage and peace.
Bless all families, that they may live in harmony and love, reflecting the Holy Family of Nazareth. May Your Holy Spirit inspire and guide our leaders, both in the Church and in the world, to work for justice, peace, and the common good.
Mary, our Blessed Mother, intercede for us. Help us to follow your example of humility and obedience. We place our trust in you, knowing that you lead us closer to your Son.
As we rest this night, we entrust our cares and worries to You, O Lord. Grant us restful sleep and renew our spirits for the day to come. May we awaken with hearts ready to serve You and to share Your love with all we encounter.
Sub tuum praesidium confugimus, sancta Dei Genetrix. Nostras deprecationes ne despicias in necessitatibus nostris, sed a periculis cunctis libera nos semper, Virgo gloriosa et benedicta.
(We fly to thy protection, O holy Mother of God. Despise not our petitions in our necessities, but deliver us always from all dangers, O glorious and blessed Virgin.)
